Chat outage update

We sincerely apologize for the chat outage yesterday and today. We remain resolute in restoring normal operating conditions and are currently operating on a continuous shift rotation with engineers taking turns around the clock until the issue is resolved and chat systems are back to normal.

**UPDATE**

Update – We are continuing to work diligently on repairing the errors that are leading to read latencies and errors on our data cluster. This is taking longer than we had hoped.
Read latencies and errors in our California and Virginia data centers continue to occur; there has been no loss in data writes. We continue to route a large portion of traffic through our other data centers to handle as much load as possible. we are still observing increased latency in some regions, and high failure rates on the East Coast of the US.
